Annual Conference 2017
Welcome and Overview
We invite you to uncover the future at our seventh and final Annual Conference at Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills.
This year’s Conference will be held at the Adelaide Hills Convention Centre. Located a convenient 30 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD, The Adelaide Hills Convention Centre, part of the newly refurbished Hahndorf Resort sits above the valleys in the picturesque Mount Lofty Ranges, perched atop 32 acres of manicured grounds.
Hahndorf is classified as Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement and each year thousands of people, young and old, enjoy its charm and the hospitality. Hahndorf is the jewel of the Adelaide Hills and one of South Australia’s most popular towns. Hahndorf is a feast for the senses, its German architecture features many Fachwerk buildings, quaint shopping, fine dining and a broad range of accommodation choices, all blended between the 100 year old elm and plane trees which line the main street. The Adelaide Hills produces some of the finest cold-climate wines, world-wide. There are several Wineries and Cellar doors located nearby such as Shaw and Smith, Nepenthe and The Lane. Hahndorf has become a unique town where you can walk the past and taste the future.
Join us to celebrate the key achievements of DET CRC over the past eight years.
